They are my go-to garage for my Hyundai Santa Fe. For my last visit there, I was showing a brake problem on my dash lights. They diagnosed the problem to be with one of the rear brakes. They quickly rescheduled an appointment and track down the needed parts, and made the repairs. Another outstanding job!

These folks are the real deal: not only did they diagnose the problem with our car, they got us back on the road safely with specific instructions for our home mechanic. At every step, they were friendly and professional, explaining clearly what the problem was and the potential ways to address it. Excellent service for both the car and the car owners!!

When traveling, you rely on the staff at your hotel or campground when you encounter a problem. When I discovered an electrical problem while on holidays I was directed to this automotive shop. They took the time to properly diagnose the problem, fix it and I was back on the road the next day. I was thankful that they were able to assist me in a timely manner so that I was not delayed on my travels. I will definitely recommend this location to any friends traveling along the east coast.

Great service and work .

Our trusty Subaru started making a weird whirring sound on our drive from Maryland to Nags Head. I did a hard-target search for good mechanics and two came up with 5 star ratings. The one in Nags Head was hard to get through to, so I tried Light House. What a stroke of good luck! Not only did they squeeze us in to a very packed schedule, they were thorough, kind, and super professional the whole way. It turned out the car had a pretty serious problem, but they got us back on the road safely, along with a detailed explanation of the work they'd done so that our home mechanic can complete the repairs. Everyone we had contact with was excellent at their job.
