I brought in my 2014 Dodge Dart with a check engine light code that caused the car to fail emission state (Maryland) inspection for over a year. After taking it to various mechanics spending between $200 and $450 each time with no success, it took it to the dealer who gave a quote of $1200 for the diagnoistic, $525 and labor. Our daughter lives in Manteo, NC and while visiting for two weeks decided to give Lighthouse auto Repair a shot. I dropped off the car at 8am and spoke to a mechanic who I explained my frustrating, vexing problem with getting this car fixed over the past year. At 11am, I got a text saying the car was completed and ready to be pickup. The receipt have the exact problem, how it was diagnosed (without just guessing) and the total costs was 10-15% of the dealer's estimate. Great to know there are honest business with smart mechanics. I have always been pleased with the service I get at Lighthouse automotive. They have repaired my Polaris Slingshots and they just replaced my brakes on my truck. They communicated well and were quick on the repairs. It's nice to have good automotive mechanics when you need them.

Had a tire problem with tires I purchased here. Brought the car in they inspected all tires, inflated all to proper level, inspected beads and valve stems. All fixed and left happy. Ice cold temperatures may have contributed to original low air in tire. Best of all THERE WAS NO CHARGE FOR THIS VISIT. They always have helpful service when needed.

I recently brought my Honda Pilot back to Lighthouse for a persistent check engine light for the collision mitigation system. The original diagnostic work did not solve the problem so this time the tech went further than what was indicated until he found the cause and was able to reset that particular warning.
