We were on vacation when our E350 van died after driving through a 6" deep flooded road in the Outer Banks. (Apparently Ford in its infinite wisdom put the fuel pump control module low down near the rear wheel and the O-ring in the connector was compromised) We scrambled for a couple days to get it towed and Lighthouse was willing to squeeze us in for emergency repairs. They replaced the fuel pump and fuel pump control module on a Friday and we were able to depart on Saturday as planned. It was a stressful vacation, but Lighthouse got us on the road again for our 750 mile trip home. We were also able to pay online and pickup our key from a box at their shop on Saturday morning, so we didn't have to waste what little relaxation time we had left getting to the shop during business hours, which was also a relief. I really appreciate Lighthouse helping us out on such short notice. It's stressful enough when a car breaks down near home, but even worse when it happens on vacation far away, and Lighthouse got us going again. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your experience, Justin! We know how stressful a breakdown can be, especially while on vacation and facing a 750-mile drive home. We're glad our Lighthouse team could squeeze your E350 in, complete the repairs in time, and help keep your Saturday departure on schedule. We're also happy the online payment and after-hours key pickup made things a little easier during an already stressful situation. Thank you for trusting us when you needed help—we were happy to get you back on the road safely!
