We ran into issues with our car in Hatteras on our way home to DC. We made it to Lighthouse Automotive in Manteo. They diagnosed the problem and told us it would take 3 to 4 hours to complete the repair. They drove my husband, me and our dog to Manteo so we can walk around, shop, eat lunch and then picked us up to return to our car. They were courteous and efficient and saved us from an otherwise mess of a vacation.

Another hassle free visit to Lighthouse Automotive. Of specific note is the exceptional customer focus of Crystal in Lighthouse North. She is the first person you see as you enter Lighthouse. She always greets everyone with a smile and a sincere how can I help you. She does a great job of listening to customers car trouble issues and consistently schedules the proper maintenance. She is a great go between the technician and the customer. She has never over promised on when the service would be completed and does an outstanding job of keeping customers apprised of repair status. Crystal is an outstanding professional that is very easy to work with.

If you want to be grossly overcharged for a simple oil change, this is the place to go. I had the oil changed on my 2018 Corvette and was charged more than double what the Chevrolet dealer would have charged me. My 2025 Ford truck oil change was also the highest that I have ever paid. I would strongly dissuade anyone from using Lighthouse Automotive!!
