“Fantastic is the only word I can start with. The owner helped me out. There is no place like being out of town and having a mechanical problem. I found them on Google and the reviews are spot on with 5 🌟's. If I could leave 6 Stars I would. I was there at 8am and his shop was open. Standing there I quickly realized his family is a definite part of the fabric of their community. He took the time to listen to my self diagnosis of the issue. Told me to take a drive and use my brakes to heat them up. Yep I had a brake caliper sticking. He gave me a price that was affordable and had one of his mechanics take the Jeep apart and be ready to replace the caliper. I can't say enough about this family run business! I was impressed by the professional honest treatment by the Light family and employees. If you have a mechanical problem while visiting the Outer Banks please give them a call.”

“Thank you for your kindness! Yesterday, July 26, my wife and I found ourselves in a predicament. We had just had our battery jump started and we had a number of odd things going on with our Kia Sorento. I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who helped us, but I think he was the owner. We were strangers in a bind and he took his valuable time to look at our car. He even put his diagnostic computer on it and determined that the issue was a software problem and that only the dealership could help. He did solve a couple problems, though, sadly a few more cropped up later. Bottom line is that we had to get the car jump started again this morning and drove all the way back to Wake Forest without turning it off again. We are safely home and our car is at the dealership for them to drive the demons out on Monday. Just wanted you to know we will never forget your kindness.”
